I always work out with weights, I hate doing cardio. Lately I want to lose more body fat, so I was thinking of a high-protein low carb diet. I want to keep packing on the muscle, but lose the fat.
Would this work?

A Look at Research into the Benefits of the Mediterranean Diet
Introduction
Significant research studies have been undertaken since 1970 designed to isolate the benefits of the Mediterranean diet scheme. While the research into the possible benefits of the Mediterranean diet is ongoing and not yet complete, scientists, researchers and nutritionists from around the globe have concluded from their extensive research that the Mediterranean diet is beneficial on a number of levels:
I have lost over 100 lbs on it, but I’m am tired of feeling “tired and such”…What steps should I take to make the transition smoothly? I have already started with more vegetables and rice for two days, and honestly I feel better. What should I expect? I will be keeping the calories low, which I wasn’t with the other, and the fat content lower which I wasn’t with the other either.
So I’m looking to lose a little weight, and do a mini-detox, but do not wish to do the classic detox plan which is just drink water for a few days. So instead, I will eat only fruit and vegetable the whole day apart from lunch where I will include rice and some meat.
Also, ofcourse I will do cardio for half an hour.
I need to lose about 2 pounds in the next week or so, do you think I can reach my goal weight like this?
