The nurse said that I must have cholesterol issues from genetics. The nurse told me to exercise but I have mono and I am not supose to do strenuous activites b/c of the risk of enlarging my liver and spleen. What can I do? I am kind of in a bad situation with health right now. I plan on going on a strick diet of fruits and vegtables with a lot of fish. Taking fiber pills and lots of vitamens. The nurse said if I don’t lower my cholesterol within the next 3 months they are going to put me on meds for it… which I really do not want to do. So what should I do beyond dieting and strenous work outs to end this issue?

Should you eat protein in the morning or whenever you exercise to build muscle? And have low carbs when you’re not exercising?
Is that how it is to be on a high protein/low carb diet. If not, please tell me the right how to diet.
