I just got diagnosed and I just wanted someone to relate to. Tell me if you know any really low carb snacks or meals. I have to eat 60 carbs at every meal. Also I want to know the advantages of the shots to the pump and vise versa.

Im just now living with my grandmother and i can only eat salads because she is makin me do the low carb diet. What very simple and low grocerie list meal can i have?

hello everyone,
i know im overweight so please don’t start commenting me telling me about my bmi and stuff because its just depressing haha
ive been diabetic for almost 5 years now but ive also grown alot in height as i got it when i was 11, my problem is i have gained soooooo much weight! up until last year i was happy eating carb filled, sugar filled, calorie filled, fat filled meals, etc(you get the idea) and because i started off underweight i didnt realise that i was steadily stacking on the pounds and now iv ended up overweight! i decided on new year 2009 that i was going to start fresh, i began cutting my carbs, exercising more, and genereally watching what i ate, and after 5 months i only managed to loose a stone. the fact that i hadnt lost as much weight as i wound have liked to upset me and i decided i couldnt be bothered being as strict with myself anymore. although i was eating low carb meals, occasional sugary cereals and still avoiding sweets and chocolate i managed to put all of my weight back on. i have found many diabetics struggle to loose weight and i ould wish to be an ideal weight for my height before i become severely overweight and feel i am beyond help!
so
over the past 2 weeks i have started a new lifestyle
i am walking to school everyday
eating a cereal bar, an apple and a pack of raisins for lunch
walking to the gym after school
having a glucotab if needed before an hour cardio workout
(including- 20mins running, 10 minutes cycling, 20 minutes cross training, 5 minutes rowing and 50 turns on the abs machine)
my mum picks me up from the gym and i go home and have a low calorie and low carb meal for tea.
some examples of my evening meal would be;
tuna salad
soup and chicken
roasted peppers stuffed and quorn mince
salmon and vegetables with low fat cottage cheese
etc
i sometimes follow this by a peice of fruit or a yoghurt

I am about 120 and i want to be around 105 by december! I don’t know what to do. I run everyday and do yoga, but still no results. What foods do i need to cut? i eat really healthy. I usually have fruit for breakfast and a salad for lunch. and usually low fat/low carb meals for dinner. i need some new exercises to lose fat on my stomach, legs, and butt.

im 51kg (112 ibs) and 5″7 ft, 16 yrs old , bmi is 17.5ish
i do 7-9 excersise sessions a week, ranging from 2-3 hours a session
sports include: bikram yoga, squad swimming, and cardio and weights gym work
my diet is high in calcium, vegatbles, fruit this is mainly what i eat. about 1 serve of protein a day (either fish, chicken or lamb) and the only carb type food i eat is oats, wild rice, weetabix no bread or pasta really but sometimes jst rye bread

Actually, any kind of meal would be good. Give me the link to a recipe or something. I heard of cheesy pancakes made with cottage cheese but i don’t know the recipe and can’t find it.
