I would like to add a few low glycemic foods to my diet in the mornings but I’m wondering if that will significantly slow my weight loss from the low carb or not effect it too much. I know some people think low carb is a horrible diet but I have always been really successful doing low carb after having my children and I eat healthy carbs like lean meats and lots of fish and lots of green leafy veggies so i don’t want to hear any bad talk about the low carb..just an answer to my question would be awesome…lol. After doing the low carb after my second child I was actually able to be taken off my blood pressure medication and my dr runs different blood tests to make sure i’m not harming my body by doing this diet

I know that with a low carb diet, because you are not replenishing your carbohydrates by eating them, your body has to go into your “stored carbs” for energy and when that it gone it goes to your “stored fat”.
So what happens when you don’t eat fat? I know your body needs some fats for health, but when you are on a low fat high carb diet and are not eating fats does it go into your fat stores to get them?

Can anyone direct me to good low carb meal plans/good foods etc directed towards Diabetics?
I am only finding the pros and cons for the diet rather than the diet itself.
Thank You

I’m dieting and exercising but I’ve noticed when I eat carbs, even when I calorie count them, I do not lose weight easily. As I’m vegetarian I find it really difficult to come up with low carb low calorie food ideas. Anyone got any ideas? I pretty much like everything so any recipe/meal ideas which don’t include meat, fish or poultry would be great.
