Healthy and Sensible Low Carb Diets
Article by David Kuehl
By now the common consensus is that low carb diets are the way to go. During the last ten years of the last millennium, and so far this millennium, the no carb diet has run amok, but it has been answered by the low carb diet plan. The no carb diet gave people false hope with their health at stake. Good health can be achieved by eating the right foods, and this will happen if you eat moderate amounts of good carbs. The main problem is finding a way to start eating foods with low carbohydrates, after being used to so many high carbs. There are tips that can help you in the following paragraphs.
Start using coconut flour rather than ordinary wheat flour. Regular refined white flour is rich in bad carbohydrates and gluten and is very hard for your digestive system to process. Coconut flour, on the other hand, is far lower in carbohydrates and works just as well. People all over the world are just starting to appreciate how nutritious coconuts are. Both coconut milk and coconut oil are also very good for you. So try switching to coconut flour and start experimenting with all the foods you can prepare with it. A diet based on natural foods is your best alternative. Those who typically eat foods that are highly processed find it extra hard to reduce carbs in their diet. To change their diet, they may start shopping for low calorie or low carb foods of the packaged and processed variety. The problem with most of these low carb processed meals is that they make you want to eat more carbohydrates, so you’re tempted to abandon your diet. Foods that are natural, however, are more nutritious and satisfying. Rather than drink a diet shake, for example, try eating some nuts, that are high in protein and healthy fats.

Healthy Foods to Lose Weight on a Low-Carb Diet
Article by Lisa Leuthesser
Almost everyone knows that the role of healthy foods to lose weight is an important one. And, unless you have absolutely no knowledge of the science of weight loss and nutrition, you know that at the top of your food pyramid are plenty of vegetables. Vegetables contain vital nutrients for a healthy diet, are rich in fiber and provide variety and taste. One word of caution: all vegetables are not equally good for you if weight loss is your goal. Obviously the two vegetables in name only–potatoes and corn–are very high in carbohydrates. If you are on a metabolism adjustment based diet that seeks to keep your insulin at a low and steady level, these two vegetables are not for you.
Additionally, it is generally true that vegetables that are grown underground including carrots, onions, beets, turnips and sweet potatoes are higher in sugars (carbs) than their above-ground cousins. And in the hierarchy of above ground vegetables, the nightshades–peppers, tomatoes and eggplant–have more carbohydrates than leafy greens. That is not to say that you should leave any of these valuable vegetables out of a carb restricted diet, it is just important that you know the relative ‘cost’ of all types of vegetables.

No/low carb diets are simply not healthy for you. We were created for balanced and portioned eating habits, not over-indulgence. Evolutionists for example, many of whom are naturopaths, have this theory that meat was never intended to be consumed; emphasizing how meat was not affordable millions of years ago, only the wealthy engaged in such savagery, and how we evolved to where meat has become so affordable that it is now killing us, is so wrong in thought and unhealthy advice to you.
